We booked a dinner here with friends to enjoy the Marina Del Rey Christmas Boat Parade, and overall, it was a great experience. The table location was excellent, and as always, the ambiance with the marina view was hard to beat. Despite the chilly evening, the restaurant provided plenty of lawn heaters to keep us warm and comfortable. The food was delicious, though there was a hiccup with my partner's order of the pork ragu--it was never served due to a mix-up. Fortunately, we had already enjoyed the lobster bisque, which was rich and flavorful, along with crispy French fries as a side. My braised short ribs were perfectly cooked, tender, and generously portioned, so it was easy to share. For dessert, we opted for the bread pudding, which was warm, comforting, and a perfect way to end the meal. While we loved the evening, we weren't able to get a full view of the boat parade from our table. Lesson learned--we'll plan differently next time if watching the parade is a priority. Parking was convenient with valet service, and the $10 validation for 4 hours was a nice perk. Overall, it was a lovely evening with great food and good company. Apart from the one-off mistake with the order, the service was attentive, and everyone in our group had a fantastic time. We'll definitely be back! This has become a go to date spot for me. Whether its dinner overlooking the marina or coming for one of their free music nights. The ambience is amazing. I especially like coming in the fall where you can cozy up next to the fire and listen to music from amazing local artist. Parking is super easy (valet) and the staff is so kind. Drinks are average price for LA but are actually strong so it feels worth it. Love this place!

I've been to Salt for brunch a few times and it's always amazing food and drinks! The beet martini is to die for. It tastes like a fresh juice but with vodka. I love their food! The tacos are so good and same with the ham Benedict. The bread was crispy and the calamari is also crisp and cooked perfect! Our server was so attentive and friendly! He helped us make decisions and boxed up our food! I took my Mom here on her last day in town visiting and she enjoyed the view! It's colorful, clean, and right on the water! We love Salt!!!!!

So glad to have found this place! It's tucked away in a really nice hotel in MDR and the setting is fantastic... we sat outside overlooking the marina on a cool Sunday late morning for a birthday brunch. We had.... Cheeseburger - looked fantastic and he said it was cooked just right. Poke Bowl - she said it was amazing and looked like very generous portion Smoked Salmon plate - the second time by gorgeous companion had this and she said it was just as good. Large portion and she had plenty to bring home. I had the turkey club sandwich - I only ate half and saved the rest for later. Service was excellent. Unfortunately, valet is the only parking option, and it's $10. A great place to have a relaxing weekend brunch, and if you have out-of-towners to show a great Southern California experience, give this place a shot.

Ahhh, my old trusty. Whenever my girlfriends and I can't decide where to go for brunch or a nice outdoor dinner we always picked here. They do have indoor seating, but I can't comment on it. I always like anywhere that has nice views of the water. So I always pick to sit outside I haven't been here in a couple years, but I used to come all the time. I met my girlfriend here to catch up and thought this would be the perfect place. It hasn't changed a bit Service is still great, we had the lovely, Jen. She was so attentive and wasn't annoyed when we kept chatting without looking at the menu They have a lot of great options. We went with lunch items instead of breakfast / brunch Espresso martinis Cheeseburger - no onion or tomato California turkey club cheesecake (they brought it out for my birthday) (I just noticed they have 10 percent off with check in. So keep that in mind lol. Because we didn't notice) This place is absolutely lovely during the evening when they have all their fire pits going. Today, it was warm out and they had them going. We had to ask them to turn it off because it was too hot. Again, they were great about it and had someone turn it off immediately. They also brought over an umbrella to our table without us having to ask since it was so sunny outside. I was lucky and did get up close parking with my handicap sticker. They do offer valet and other parking in lots not too far away. This place is conveniently located in the Marina Del Rey hotel. You go right past the check in desk and it's right outside. They also are dog friendly

Sunshine, warm weather, and a great view all wrapped up on the outdoor patio of SALT. The perfect combination for a Sunday lunch with a good friend. *SALT is located inside The lobby of the Marina Del Rey Hotel. Head towards the front desk and to your right. Jen was our server. She didn't rush us to order while we chatted and caught up. We finally ordered: The California Turkey Club w/fries 5/5 - big portion, fresh and delicious. The SALT Cheeseburger 5/5 - also huge. The Espresso Martini - 3/5 no foam on top and too much vodka. We both boxed up our left overs for later and continued to chat for another 2 hours. lol. *Very laid back and the view of the marina was lovely. *Valet parking only at the hotel *Free Public parking in LOT 5 - I parked here.

Was attending their Meet Your Makers event, Maker's Mark. Got a drink at the bar that has great selections. Patio is facing the ocean and they hit live music. Dana is gracious host, who makes sure the events are going smoothly. Don't forget to check out their food menu, their Hawaiian Ahi Tuna Poke is delicious.

Came with my family here recently and we had a great view of the Marina. It's located on the backside of the hotel. The food was pretty good and our server was very helpful. It's a little pricey but nothing unexpected. I'll definitely be back to try all of the other dishes and cocktails.

Decided to patronize this brunch spot after the UCLA graduation. They were able to accommodate 8 people very quickly. We were able to use the valet so we didn't have to hassle with parking. They did not have room outdoors on the marina so we sat indoors near the bar. We had "Mo" as our server and she was hands down the BEST server. She was attentive and helped us decide on food and drinks. Honestly her energy was unmatched. She helped us celebrate our special occasion and we enjoyed all our meals. I don't remember everything we got but a couple of Burgers, french toast, chilaquiles, omelette, turkey avocado bacon sandwich and a whole lot more than I took pictures of. But the food, service and location were all great. But most importantly "Mo" had that energy that made it a brunch to remember. Thank you MO! We will be back!
